Mother’s Day is the one time of the year when your mum isn’t allowed to argue about who’s paying. It’s her day to sit back and enjoy a proper meal surrounded by the people who love her. And it’s not just for mums - whether you’re celebrating your grandmother, your aunt, your sister who stepped up, or any woman who has been there for you, Mother’s Day is a chance to say thank you to the women who have shaped your life. At 40 Dean Street, we’ve been hosting family celebrations for over twenty years, and Mother’s Day is one of our favourites.
This year, we're offering a free glass of Prosecco for every mum who joins us on Saturday 15th March.
The Offer
Guests dining with their mum on Mother's Day will receive a complimentary glass of Prosecco for her to enjoy. The offer is valid for bookings on 15th March with a minimum spend of £35 per person, and we'll provide one glass per two guests at the table, up to a maximum of three glasses for tables of six. So if you're coming as a pair, mum gets a glass. If the whole family is joining, she can share the bubbles with the other mums at the table.
This offer cannot be exchanged for or used in conjunction with any other promotion.
Italian food is made for sharing, and sharing a meal is what Mother's Day is all about. Order a few starters for the table, let everyone try a bit of everything. The menu has dishes your mum will love, from burrata and pan-fried tiger prawns to lobster ravioli and sea bass from the grill. The pasta is made fresh every single day, and there's a wine list full of Italian and French bottles to work through if you're making an afternoon of it.
If your mum has a sweet tooth, save room for the pistachio tiramisu or the affogato with Amaretto. And if she wants to keep the Prosecco flowing after the free glass, we won't stop her.
Pre-Theatre Dinner in London
If you're combining Mother's Day with a trip to the theatre, we're perfectly placed for a pre-theatre dinner in London. Let us know what time your show starts when you book, and we'll take care of the rest. If you'd rather come back after the curtain falls for dessert and a nightcap, we can do that too.
The Restaurant
40 Dean Street is a family-run Italian restaurant tucked down one of Soho's quieter streets. The dining room is warm and inviting, with soft lighting and a relaxed buzz that makes a meal feel like an occasion. We're tucked down Dean Street rather than on one of Soho's busier roads, which gives it a neighbourhood feel even though you're right in the centre of things.
Our team have been with us for years and genuinely care about making your visit memorable, whether that's recommending something from the wine list or making sure your mum's glass is never empty.
If her dog is part of the family, they're welcome to join you too.
